“ This area staple has something original but yet something I have always looked for since PHX. The best Tex-mex colab, Carne Guisada Enchiladas. The "Javi" special is what I had and the story behind the name is classic. (History is the menu). The rice was pretty salty and my tortilla was under cooked but even those issues could not stop me from coming back. The service was top notch and I wanted for nothing during my visit. The ambiance is very much a part of the experience here. Gilbert was a major Tejano music influence so the memorabilia is perfectly dated. The "Nick Cage" Elvis painting is something I would bid heavily for in an auction!!!! ”
